Therapy Services
I currently provide therapy through the Pierce Street Integral Counseling Center, which offers a sliding scale based on income to make counseling accessible. I provide therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children. Both in-person and telehealth sessions are available to accommodate your needs.
Fees
Individual Sessions: Fees range from $40 to $160.
Couples and Family Sessions: Fees range from $80 to $160.
Fees are based on a sliding scale, determined by income.
Insurance
I do not accept insurance at this time. However, I can provide a superbill upon request, which you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Please check with your insurance company to confirm whether they cover services provided by out-of-network providers.
Privacy Policies
Your confidentiality is taken very seriously. All information shared during therapy remains private, with a few exceptions as required by law:
If there is a reasonable suspicion of child, elder, or dependent adult abuse.
If you disclose intent to harm another person or yourself.
For clients under the age of 12, or those aged 12–18 whose parents/guardians are paying for treatment, certain health information may be shared with the parent or guardian.
In compliance with AB1775, I am required to report any disclosure of downloading or accessing child pornography to local authorities.
Additionally, if you request reimbursement from your insurance provider, they may require access to your treatment records to verify the services provided.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or not using insurance are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected costs of therapy services.
You have the right to:
Request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services.
Dispute any bill that exceeds your Good Faith Estimate by $400 or more.
Please retain a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records. This estimate is not a contract, and you are not obligated to proceed with services after receiving it.
